The business is owned and operated by Ronald Gray, who runs jobs himself from behind the controls of his own equipment. His wife, Glenda, helps keep the business side running smoothly. On larger jobs that call for extra manpower or a second machine, Ronald works alongside a trusted operator he’s known for years, so bigger properties and bigger demolitions don’t get turned away.
R&G Land Clearing opened in January 2025 and has been taking on jobs full-time since the summer of that year. We’re a newer name in the area, but the approach behind the work isn’t new at all — it’s the same hands-on, do-it-right mindset Ronald has carried through years of working with his hands and running equipment.
Before any job starts, Ronald meets with the property owner in person. He wants to hear directly what you’re picturing for the space, whether that’s a clean pad ready for a new build, a pasture free of brush, or a home taken down safely and hauled away. That conversation shapes how the job gets done.
Our approach is simple: do more than what’s expected. On land clearing jobs especially, we don’t just clear what’s asked and leave — we take the extra time to leave the property looking finished, not just cleared. R&G Land Clearing is currently focused on residential demolition and land clearing for homeowners and landowners. We serve Old Fort and the surrounding region, working as far out as the Knoxville area, while staying closer to home for smaller jobs. We offer free estimates and a 10% discount for military, veterans, law enforcement, first responders, and senior citizens.
